DAILY JOURNALING. HOW TO KEEP FOCUSSED ON YOUR GOALS AND PRIORITIES.

Daily Journaling;a great way to write your goals down for the following week, month and year. Making sure that you keep on top of your priorities and a very important point is that when you re-write your goals daily, they become forged into your subconscious mind.

It all starts with the mind-set, having a strong mind-set can bring you basically everything you every wished for. A combination with hard work and a strong believe that good things will happen to you, will bring you plenty opportunities. One of my favourite quotes of all times is; If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hands. 
I literally live by this quote, when you start thinking and dreaming big, and stay focused on your goals, I truly believe that everything is possible. They often say, if you are walking around and you are looking for a yellow car, you will find yellow cars on the street, this because it is in your mind in that very moment. This works exactly the same with your dreams, make sure that you see it in your mind, and opportunities will come your way. Of course, in combination with hard work. Nothing will come for free! But stay focused and think big, things will start to change.

Why daily journaling? Daily journaling is a great way to stay focused on your goals and dreams. We often get very busy with our fulltime job, social life and next to that we try to work out in the gym, we do a lot! We only have 24 hours in one day, and if you ask me; this is never enough. When writing your goals down, you keep focused and the more you write it down, the more this will stick in your mind. The more real it gets for you. I want to become a writer, the more I tell myself that I will become a writer, the more I see it happening. Keep reminding yourself about what you really want and don’t get lost in your daily routine. 

Daily journaling is also very good for smaller goals, hitting the gym three times a week for example. Or start to cook for yourself, instead of a takeaway. It can be as simple as making a phone call to that one friend you didn’t speak to for ages. When you start to write things down, you will find out that it’s becoming more real, you do not only keep things in your mind, you write it down on paper and this makes it so much more real. Daily journaling is incredible and I really think that everyone should do it, it only takes a maximum of ten minutes out of your day. And you feel so much more organized and focused.

I spend every day around five minutes on my daily journal, and on Sunday I take a little bit longer because I also prepare for the new week. My mind can be so busy and writing works very well for me. It calms me down and keeps me very focused. Never forget why you started.
